I wanted the nursery to be modern and gender neutral (we are having a boy and a girl) without taking a theme too far. The accents are Woodland inspired with trees and owls.

What brand and color of paint did you use?
Benjamin Moore "Agreeable Grey"

If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.
I ordered the tree/owl decals from the shop "pinknbluebaby" on etsy.com. I customized the colors so our little boy has blue accents and our little girl has pink accents.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?
Our cribs are the Babyletto "Harlow" from Babies R Us.

What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
Our chair is the Monte Grano Glider/Recliner from Totini. The changing table is Babyletto from Babies R Us.

What bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?
"Not a peep" collection from Land of Nod.

Tell us about your window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?
Our pendant light is from Lamps plus. The owl table light is from Target. The nightlight/art above the changing table is made from a piece of routed corian backlit by LED's.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?
Mainly in baskets, drawers and in the closet.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
It took us several weeks to fully complete the nursery. It was a blast!

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
I came up with the design, but my husband did most of the heavy lifting and assembling.

What do you love most about your little one's finished room?
It is so bright, cozy and modern!

TIP: If painting or making your own tree seems a bit daunting, try an easy stick, removable tree wall decal. There are lots of beautiful ones available and they really brighten up the room!
