Winnie the Pooh with Stripes Nursery
My husband and I decided on a Winnie The Pooh with Stripes Nursery because he loved Pooh when he was younger. I wanted to modernize the classic look a bit which is why I added vertical stripes on the other three walls.  
 The mural was done by myself and my sister. My sister used a projector and traced the characters on the wall with a pencil. Then she and I painted. The key to the mural is outlining the characters. I filled the character in first. Then I added a few drops of a darker paint (gray, black, etc.) to the original color to create a darker shade. I painted the edge with this color. This created a nice outline that isn't noticeable due to it being the same as the original color, just a darker shade. The mural was much more work than I had anticipated. I would estimate that the mural took approximately 80 hours to complete.     Finally, I painted bees on the changing table, walls, and closet doors to tie the whole room together. Changing table- Purchased at Babies'R'Us Bookshelf- Purchased from Ikea (spray painted it a brighter white) Crib- Hand me down from family (spray painted a brighter white) Rocker- Purchased at RCWilley
