The top climber this year is Jayden with a jump of 31 places.

He is followed by Brayden and Wyatt, with jumps of 15 and 13 places respectively.



The biggest losers for 2007 are Nathaniel with a drop of 13 places and Bryan with a drop of 12.



There were only two new entries for 2007: Brady and Cooper coming in at positions 93 and 95 respectively.

All in all the top 100 baby boy names list was fairly static from 2006 to 2007 with most changes being fairly minor shuffles in position.



There are 24 new baby names on the top 100 list for the 2000's that did not appear on the top 100 list for the 1990's.

The top entry is Elijah, a fairly popular baby boy name in the 2000's at number 37 so far for the decade and currently at number 30 on the 2007 list. He is followed by Angel at number 42 for the decade and number 34 for 2007.

Other entries include Isaiah at 44 for the decade and 43 for 2007; Jackson at 48 for the decade and 33 for 2007; Mason at 51 for the decade and 37 for 2007 and Gavin at 53 for the decade and 32 for 2007.




24 of the top 100 baby boy names for the 1990's did not make the 2000's list.

The most popular baby name for the 1990's to drop off the list, Jeremy, was listed at number 47 for the 1990's.

Other 1990's dropouts include Mark (from number 48), Stephen (from number 49), Travis (from number 53) and Jeffrey (from number 54).
