Madison's Think Pink Nursery

Madison's Think Pink Nursery

My bedding set was my inspiration for Madison's Think Pink Nursery. It's the Babylicious Squirt Pink Bubblegum set and I love it! If I were a kid this would be my dream room.

I painted the walls with Baby Pink, Hot Pink and White to match the three designs on the bedding set. I hand drew all of the polka dots and used painter's tape for the stripes. I painted everything 9 months pregnant and all!

The crib is a Bassettbaby Cape Cod 4 in 1 so I can use it as a toddler bed, day bed and eventually a full sized bed. I added different pieces of furniture that I thought would look best together.

I painted Madison's hanging wall letters and made the bows for them. I also found picture frames that I hand painted to match the room and added ribbon to hang them.

It took me about a week to finish the nursery, but I did most of it myself. I had some help from my friends Jennifer and Jenny. They're both little bitsy so they helped me do everything I couldn't do on my own.

My favorite part is the end result. I get excited every time I walk in the room! Decorating and painting was fun, and difficult! I loved painting everything and it was exciting because it is my dream nursery, but it was difficult to paint the tops and bottoms of the walls with a big watermelon belly in the way!

I just think it is perfect for my baby girl, it is bold and bright and fun, perfect for a little one!

Hi, I absolutely love this room, thanks for sharing! I'm curious how you did the walls around the entire room. Do you have any more pictures? I wasn't sure if you kept the rest of the walls a solid color or if you used the stripes and polka dots around the entire room.
