My nursery design was inspired by eclectic patterns mixed with more traditional florals. I wanted something bright and cheerful.


What brand and color of paint did you use?
It is Pink Begonia by Benjamin Moore.


If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.
I stenciled the cabinets and the ceiling with a stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils.


What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
Daybed from Ballard Design, Hamper from Home Decorator's Collection.


What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?
It's all from Addison's Wonderland.


Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?
Everything in the room is from Addison's Wonderland :-) I painted the hamper and the frames behind the crib.


How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?
My husband built the cabinetry for her clothes, diapers, etc.


How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
It took about two months from start to finish. It was super fun! I love creating new collections and creating a room for my girl's at the same time!


Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
I designed it all myself :-) I am an interior designer and I own Addison's Wonderland.


What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?
It's breathtakingly beautiful :-)
