I really like stripes so I knew I wanted to start with that. I saw in Sherwin williams brochure, paint swatches in 3 pretty, soothing colors and I knew I wanted to use them to do my striped wall. Colors are: yellow, blue and light grey.
What brand and color of paint did you use?
Sherwin Williams: for blue - stream sw 6499, for yellow - friendly yellow sw 6680, for light grey - misty sw6232

I used a laser I bought at home depot to get straight lines and then I used frog tape to make straight stripes.

Ikea - standing lamp.

Name above the dresser - made by myself using fabrics and canvases.
How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
It took me a week to put everything together in the room. Adding stripes to the wall was the hardest. The favorite part was to decorate with little stuff after all the furniture were assembled.
Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
My husband helped with assembling the furniture and to paint the stripes on the wall.
What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?
I love the soothing, relaxing colors throughout the room and the name Max I added above the dresser I made with fabrics and canvases.
