Sophisticated Baby Nursery

I always liked black and white but wanted an accent color other than pink! I have seen green done with black and white so that is what I ended up choosing. I found my bedding first then went from there.


What brand and color of paint did you use?
I used a Sherwin Williams color called High Strung…

it was matched at Home Depot using Behr paint.


If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.
Careful measuring and using a level to make my lines straight. It was black painted over a pre-painted white. I did not use tape after my lines were drawn, just freehand. The polka dot border was done by using a pencil to make my dots through a stencil, then hand painted.


What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?
The crib was a Baby Mod Cadence in Ebony. It was from Wal-Mart online. Fantastic quality and great price.


What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
The dresser was purchased from an unfinished furniture store and I finished it myself. I also hand painted all of the knobs. The bookcase is from Target online.


What bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?
The crib bedding brand is Tadpoles Damask. It is a black and white damask, polka dot and stripe. It was purchased on Amazon.com.
