Secret Garden Nursery Idea
by Brandy Myers
Lauren's Secret Garden
I knew for my daughters room I wanted to have green and a little pink, and stripes. I set out in search of the perfect bedding set to match, along with dark furniture. After searching for pictures online of what I wanted, my mother, husband, and sister all helped make the secret garden nursery idea happen.
We used two different tones of green, and a pink for the smallest stripe. Our crib came from JCPenney, thanks to Poppop. Then we chose a DaVinci furniture set from JCPenney to go with it. We chose the Cocalo bedding set, A La Mode along with the valances. Not seen in the picture, is my great grandmother's antique lamp with which we covered in fabric to match. The secret garden nursery is still a work in progress, as we are waiting for Lauren to get here to put a few frames and pictures up. The stripes on the wall took 3 days to complete. We had to let the walls dry after each stage. My favorite part was spending time with my family to complete the project for our new little pride and joy!
