Ryder's Rainforest Nursery

As an animal lover, I fell in love with the Fisher Price Rainforest Nursery collection. I love all the bright colors and when I found out I was having a boy, I knew it was the theme I wanted to use.

We used a projector to get the images on the wall and then we traced them and painted them with acrylic paints.

We purchased the DaVinci Reagan crib from babyearth.com and we used a dresser that my husband's grandfather made for him when he was little and bought a used changing table.

We received the Fisher Price Rainforest nursery bedding set as a baby shower gift.

We bought the lamp and a small rug that go with the bedding and all the decor on the walls is painted on. I wish I could share more pictures because all of the walls have different animals on them!

The rainforest nursery took about 3 weeks to complete. I really enjoyed it! It was the last few weeks of my pregnancy and it was nice to have something to keep me busy.

My husband helped draw the images and trace them on the walls. He helped with the painting when he wasn't at work and he also installed the laminate flooring. A couple of my girlfriends helped with some painting. I spent many hours painting alone.

My favorite part was the finished result! It's so bright and fun! There are so many colors and so many animals for him to look at.
