Pretty Princess Pink Nursery Room

We skipped the butterfly and flower themed bedding found in Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby and chose a damask print bedding online that we really fell in love with. We worked off the fabric and colors of the bedding to choose the paint colors and decorative accents. Gray and Pink is the new "Brown & Pink" that was so popular a few years ago.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

Benjamin Moore - Cherub Pink and Monday Gray

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

Munire - Capri in White. It took us a while to find the right "WHITE" furniture set. All the other white sets were antique white, french white, etc.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

New Arrival's Inc - Stella Bedding Set.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

Curtain panels, Mobile, Diaper Stacker and Monogrammed Pillow all were purchased on Etsy.com from Mellissa's Boutique.

Glider & Ottoman: Little Castle, Savvy purchased from Buy Buy Baby.

Chandelier: Lydia chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids.

Area Rug: Pink shag rug 4' round from Amazon.com

Personalized Addison Chairs: Both chairs were gifts at my baby shower, however, I do know the pink one is from Toys R Us.

Various wall hangings and picture frames: Hobby Lobby and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

All the baby items are stored neatly in the closet and in the dresser drawers.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

It took us about 2 weeks to put the room all together.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

Arena Home Improvements did all the painting, white trim and chair rail.

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

I love the furniture. It was important to find white furniture because I really wanted it to match the chair rail and white trim. I knew the white furniture and trim would break up the pink and gray walls. Plus I felt it went well with the elegance of the damask bedding.

My other favorite item is the Chandelier. It's pink and perfect for my little princess' room!
