Delighful Times Two Pink Twin Nursery!!

Our twin nursery is for our precious little girls who are now two weeks old. They are each sleeping in their own cribs and have been sleeping really well for premies/newborns.

My husband and I were overjoyed to find out we were having twin girls 8 months ago and we were so excited to bring them home to this room that we had created just for them!

Pink is my favorite color and we had the walls in the nursery already painted this soft pink, so we went from there!

I also really like the look of the nurseries in Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, so we tried to follow that kind of look. I wanted a soft and whimsical room, one that was cozy, with dim lighting, and a wonderful place for them to fall asleep at night.

I already had the pretty green light above the changing table and wanted to incorporate that, because green is my second favorite color!

We went shopping at Babies R Us and found the beautiful Olivia patterned quilts and decided to go with that for our bedding.

We have a beautiful glider in the corner, which I couldn't get in the picture and also my white wicker chest and mirror from when I was a little girl.

My diaper bag which is shown on the picture above the green wicker baskets also matches!

It definitely took me longer to finish the twin nursery than I thought it would. I worked full time until 1 month and a half before the babies were born and it was a challenge to get things done, because I would tire out so quickly carrying two!

I had a lot of help from my mom, sister and husband. We were so glad that we completed it by the time we brought our girls home.
