Pink Shabby Chic Nursery Idea

Tessa's Crib

Tessa's Crib

This was Tessa's second nursery. Being born 15 weeks too soon caught us by surprise, so before being discharged we "threw" together her nursery. After a few furniture recalls I decided we needed a change. I fell in love with the pink and green... all different shades of both.

I wanted to include a little bit of vintage and chic so I guess you could call it Shabby Chic.

The vinyl wall expressions are from Uppercase Living. I am a demonstrator. There are hundreds to choose from in the catalog or you can custom design one and they are all available in over 30 colors...

The crib is the Da Vinci Jenny Lind model. We bought DaVinci Jenny Lind furniture to match, except for the dresser which was oak from our "last" nursery. I painted and distressed it.

The curtains are Target's Shabby Chic line and the sheets and bumper are from Babies R Us. I got lucky and found the perfect blankets. They are Kyle and Deena.

I am storing all my baby goodies in baskets and bins... LOTS of them!

The "new" nursery only took 2 weeks even though I did it all on my own...

I had a vision for my pink shabby chic nursery idea and knew no one else could help. Plus I am a bit of a control freak! Most of the two weeks was me getting around to finishing the old dresser!

I had so much fun, and still am. My favorite part are the Holly Hobbie quilt blocks passed down from Tessa's Great-Great-Great Grandma.
