I wanted a very elegant and calming nursery for my little girl... I took a bunch of ideas that I liked and put them together to create this nursery.

I used Behr Rose and Light Brown paint. The stripes were made with a chalk snap string.

The crib and furniture is from the JCPenney.com Monterey collection.

The bedding is a Danielle Cocalo set.

The chandelier is from Home Depot. The 'R' on the wall is hand painted and decorated in crystals as are the name 'Riley' blocks. The tutu and headband in the empty frame on the wall are also handmade.

Books are stored in baskets but other more decorative goodies are stored on shelves on the hutch.

It took us a full weekend but it was really fun... a lot of work but really fun! My husband did the painting and my mom and grandma helped me hang things.

I love how elegant the nursery is and that it is the most relaxing room in my house.
