My husband is a huge New York Giants fan so when we found out that we were having a boy I decided to do a New York Giants theme nursery. My husband loves that the Giants won the superbowl the year that we created the nursery!!  Then on one wall we painted a football field. I started by painting the wall white. Then, I put tape on the wall where I wanted the field stripes to be. I also cut numbers and letters out using contact paper and put them on the wall. I spelled out Touchdown with the letters and put numbers on the yard lines. Then I painted over everything with green paint. When it dried, I just peeled off the letters, numbers, and field lines. My mom and Aunt came to visit for the weekend and helped with the painting. We finished it in one weekend.
The crib is from babies'r'us and the dresser and bookshelf are from IKEA. My mom made the bumper, quilt and bedskirt using New York Giants fabric and other fabrics with blue, red and gray. She also made the curtains using Giants fabric on one side and red polka dot fabric on the other side. It took my mom a few days to make all the bedding and curtains.  I painted the letters for his name on the wall, bought a Football photo holder at Kohls and a Giants helmet online. I painted wooden bins from Michael's to store his toys. I love that the room is one of a kind and that my mom was able to make the bedding.
