Modern Baby Girl Nursery
As a girl that is not a fan of Pink I had a hard time finding bedding for my daughters nursery. I wanted something girly, modern and not pink. I found a Queen size Duvet bed set that I loved and became inspired. I bought the adult bedding and had it transformed into bedding fit for a little girl. The bedding was from a catalog called Chiasso, it is their Bella Bedding.
We used Valspar Paint and had it custom matched to the bedding. We painted the wall grey with a green/yellow stripe. We then applied a wall decal over the crib. My mom helped out a lot and my in-laws and husband did all the painting. It was a family project. We bought the Argington crib, Changing table and bookcase. For the accessories we used shelves from Target, the artwork was handmade and then framed, we got a shag rug from Target. We bought baskets for the closet and put most everything in those on shelves. It took a couple months...we had to wait for furniture to be delivered and unfortunately we got that in pieces. But I really had a lot of fun and it is great to see the final room. I love the colors and its unique character. Hopefully something that she will grow up and enjoy.
