Little Prince Nursery

Our Little Prince nursery was inspired by crowns.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

A very pale blue, cape cod.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

I chose a white round crib.

What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

I purchased the furniture myself used and refurbished it.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

Since the crib is round, bedding is hard to come by, so fortunately my mother handmade everything for her new grandson.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

I designed and my husband built a valance, made of metal and wood.

All the decor was frames purchased and with the use of stencils and paint I was able to create a very unique look.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

I chose an armoire and a buffet dresser that is also a changing table.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

It was so exciting. It only took me a few months but I kept adding details throughout my pregnancy.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

I did mostly all the design and creating myself, but my husband helped to assemble etc.

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

That I have never seen anything like this before and that he has a beautiful unique space created especially for him. I also spend a lot of time in there and find it very soothing and beautiful place to be.
