Leo's Brown and Blue Nursery Room

Our blue and brown baby nursery was inspired by the blue and brown circle decor.


What brand and color of paint did you use?

Bear/Niagara Fall


If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.

I bought dot stickers and placed over the paint.


What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

We received a crib from friend as a used item.


What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

Some are from friends, and some are from IKEA or Kmart.


What bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

We found bumper pads at baby bazaar. Sheets are from Target. Mattress is from Walmart.


Tell us about your window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

Window treatments, lighting and rug are from IKEA.


How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

Both baskets and shelves.


How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

It was fun. We couldn't spend much money but we did our best and love this room. I love the blue and brown color combination. Also the mix of wood color and white.


Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

I did everything by myself with my husband.


What do you love most about your little one's finished room?

The cute but sophisticated look. And the furniture placement looks perfect I think.
