The above layette list is for 0-3 months. You should also put aside a few newborn outfits for the first week or two. Not too many though. Newborns grow

Make sure that your stroller reclines in several positions. Newborn babies sleep most of the time, but when you do want to prop them up for a look around, they should not be in the fully upright position.
Also check for adjustable straps and, preferably, a five-point-harness system.
