Landon's Sunlight Baby Nursery

The sun light we found at ikea inspired Landon's sunlight baby nursery. We found it when I was still pregnant and worked off that for the rest of the room.


What brand and color of paint did you use?
I think we used Moore. Light yellow and light green - (don't remember the exact color paint names).


What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?
From Babies "R" Us.


What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
Babies "R" Us for changing table to match his crib and my husband actually made his nightstand.


What bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?
Target for the sheets. Most of his blankets were given to us as gifts and some were homemade.


Tell us about your window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?
Sun lamp previously mentioned.

The blue ABC painting was actually the very first thing we bought for the baby's nursery -- before we even knew the sex.

We also have a special nighttime prayer hanging above the crib, as well as a cross that reads "God bless this precious little one."


How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?
We have a big closet in his nursery for all his little clothes and shoes. I used baskets to store baby toiletries and wipes and such.


How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
SO FUN! It's always a working progress -- we are still finding cute little things to add to it!


Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
My husband and his brother painted the nursery walls. My husband built everything. I did all the designing.


What do you love most about your little one's finished room?
That it is unique, cozy, and full of love.
