Jungle Baby Nursery

I was searching for ideas for our nursery on the net and saw the bedding - what sold me on it was the cute little monkey!

The bedding set is called Nojo Jungle Babies.

We painted with Sherwin Williams Paint: 6430 Great Green (Green) & 6688 Solaria (Yellow). Then I painted on the animals and coconut tree using acrylic paints. There is also a border that I bought with the NOJO Jungle Babies Bedding Set.

The crib is the Simplicity 'Complete Baby's Room' set. Sadly is was recalled and I am in the midst of getting a NEW furniture set. I will be using the same color. The other furniture is from Walmart.

I bought the 2 window rods at walmart and used one for the comforter so I could hang it up on the wall and the other for the window treatment that I bought with the set. The shelves were bought at Home Depot and the items on the shelves were all gifts from family members.

I had a blast decorating the nursery! I love it!! I don’t ever want to paint over it!!! It took me about 3 months to complete everything. I put together the furniture myself. I wouldn't let my hubby help - I was extremely excited for our new arrival and I couldn’t wait for the weekend for his help.

I also painted the room and hung the border up with a friends help. Sherwin Williams Paint is NON TOXIC. As for the rocking chair I had a friend re-cover with the pattern I wanted (yellow and white striped) and my husband re-painted the chair for me, it was white.

The nursery is beautiful! What is there not to love! I made it for him and did it with LOVE!
