Hot Pink Nursery

Hot Pink Nursery Changing Station
I wanted my daughter's nursery to be "girly" but not in the traditional way. I chose a hot pink nursery paint in lieu of a baby pink color. I fell in love with the "Claire" nursery bedding from Pottery Barn Baby and went from there.
Now, the curtains to match the Pottery Barn bedding were just perfect, however, they were not perfectly priced. So, I decided to attempt to make my own. In keeping with the polka dot theme from the bedding, I purchased white curtains and affixed buttons in pink & green shades. I really wanted to have my daughter's name on the nursery wall but did not want to do the traditional wooden letter look. I found a wonderful company online called Vinyl Attractions. They were able to work with me on colors and design to create the wall art. It's my favorite part of the room. For the top of the changer/dresser I found little metal buckets in bright pinks & greens to store Annabella's essentials in; hair clips, pacifiers, etc. I also decided to paint some polka dots on a white canvas to recreate a painting I had seen in another nursery but it was in the wrong color scheme. I ordered paper lanterns from Luna Bazaar to hang above her little head as she sleeps. Ta-Da! Anabella's hot pink nursery!
