Hello Kitty Nursery Idea

I fell in love with this Hello Kitty Nursery idea as soon as I saw it - I'm so pleased to be able to share it with you! Thanks Holly.

The thing that sets this baby nursery apart for me, is the attention to detail that obviously went into it. From the message above the window to the decor around the switch plates, every inch of this baby room has been lovingly and thoughtfully considered. It's the perfect hideaway for a newborn princess.

I have to admit though, I am slightly biased. Holly has used some of my favorite colors in her little one's nursery room. I know pink and lilac baby girl's rooms have become somewhat cliche, but what can I say? I have three little girls and they all look absolutely gorgeous in pink and lilac - that's just the way little girls are!

The canopy above the crib is a lovely finishing touch, especially with the coordinating ribbons. It's also a great way to keep the cat out of the baby crib if you have one. We have three and believe me, they'll nestle in with your baby every chance they get. Not only is this just asking for allergy problems, it's also downright dangerous. Cats can easily suffocate a young baby.

As an added bonus, most of the decor in this room is simple DIY stuff that any of us moms can use.

You don't need to be a professional decorator to achieve the look in this nursery room. Just a dedicated loving mommy determined to welcome her precious princess into the world in style!

Love the room. I'm actually doing a Hello Kitty Theme as well and I love the way you incorporated various Hello Kitty collections. Are the words above the window wall stickers? or did you paint them. I love that idea.
