Since we live in Wisconsin, getting to tropical places is always a plus. We love ocean animals, especially sea turtles so we wanted to create a baby nursery around that theme!


What brand and color of paint did you use?
We used the Behr brand paint and used a "sea life" and "polar bear white".


If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.
We designed the floral print on the computer, printed everything out on 8.5 x 11" paper. Then we taped them together and cut out parts to make our own stencils (a very long, long, long, process!)


What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
The glider was Babies R Us, I don't remember the crib brand but the changing table was built by Owen's Great Grandfather!


How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?
Fabric bins in cubes.


How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
About 100 hours, no lie! Very difficult and time consuming.


Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
All on our own.


What do you love most about your little one's finished room?
That is was all done for our little Owen!
