Fun and Bright Nursery

First of all, we knew we wanted a fun and bright nursery, and something that could be used for a boy or a girl. We love IKEA, and I had been eyeing up the crib and bedding sets there for months.

We found a bedding set that fit the bill, and went with all of our fun and bright design ideas from there. Daddy to be came up with the idea of beaded board, since it is such a nice and classic look, that would go well with our fun and modern design of the room.

This was Daddy's first carpentry project, and it was NOT easy. It really was a huge task to take on the first time, so we had lots of problems and it took us three months to complete the beaded board and paint the room.

But we did it, and it looks amazing! We quickly purchased the furniture and had it assembled in time for the first baby shower. We're so very proud of the room, and can't stay out of it.

For sure our baby boy has the best room in the house, even if he can't appreciate it just yet.
