French Vintage Nursery

My nursery inspiration came from a picture of a carousel in Paris.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

Sherwin williams - Odessa Pink

If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.

I added vinyl gold dot stickers to create an accent wall. We had to measure out the distance between each dot and used a laser light to help line them up evenly.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

Bonavita Collection from bambi baby.com

What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

We bought the furniture used off of craigslist.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

We bought the mint and gold dot nursery bedding set from Caden Lane.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

A lot of it was bought at antique shops or from Home Goods. The window treatments were from Home Depot (rod) and blinds from overstock.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

I bought a book shelf from an antique shop and cube storage units from target. Also bought vintage suitcase from ebay.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

It took about 5 months of planning. It was a lot of work finding exactly what I wanted in different places, but it was well worth it. It's everything I imagined and I enjoyed the planning process.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

My uncle helped with painting and family helped find certain wall decor from antique shops as gifts. My mother and sister in law also helped paint the crib.

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

The color scheme - it's relaxing and cozy.
