I love shabby chic and antique furniture, so this was my starting point for the Devonbow Boutique Nursery. I painted the room in Crown baby pink and baby grey paint colors and added wallpaper to the lower half of the wall. I handmade the curtains and tiebacks myself.

I bought all my furniture and bedding from Mamas and Papas. The light is an antique from an antique market in London and all the accessories are pieces I have picked up over many years.

I have a cupboard in which everything the baby needs, ie nappies etc., are hidden.

It took about a month to do, by myself. It was fun and I loved getting all the pieces together and seeing it come to life.

It's such a princess room but also will grow with her for her first years. It's very girly but also grown up and it has a very calming relaxing vibe.
