Chloe's Rainforest Nursery

Chloe's Rainforest Nursery was inspired by the Fisherprice rainforest crib bedding set.

I hand sketched what I wanted the murals to look like then painted over that with a lot of different olympic no voc paint colors.

The crib and changing table are Delta, bought brand new from once upon a child. The glider and foot stool were bought at a thrift store and recovered to match the room.

I added white wood blinds, a shag green rug to look like grass from Ikea, and a sun light fixture on the ceiling to look like a sun in the sky also from Ikea.

I stored Chloe's goodies in baskets under the bed, under the changing table, in a cabinet that has baskets from Lowes, and in the closet.

Since I did murals on all 4 walls, and I am a high risk pregnancy, the nursery took months! I had help painting the solid colors but the art was all up to me. It was a challenge and some days I thought I would never finish, but I love it and hope my daughter will too.

I love that it is unique and no one else has this room because I made it up and painted it myself. I love all the bright colors, and the fun feeling you get when you walk in the room!
