Carousel Princess Nursery

I created the carousel Princess Nursery because I wanted a girly princess room, mixed with a shabby chic edge.

I used bow paint, in pink and blue. I created the sky by painting the whole ceiling blue then using a spray paint in white to make the clouds.

I bought my crib, bedding and furniture from mamas and papas.

I made the curtains myself by buying some shabby chic material.

I am lucky to have a whole wall of wardrobes for storage but I also wanted a little wardrobe to hang all her pretty dresses in.

It took 2 weeks to finish the nursery which I did on my own.

I love that it is going to be a fun place to play with her friends when she is older, and it is a room that will grow with her and inspire her imagination.
