Our Carebear nursery was inspired by a gently used care bear crib bedding set that we found while we were looking around yard sales for baby stuff and ideas.

We painted the room pink and added black carebears. I am a sign maker by trade and work with vinyl stickers so I cut out some carebear outlines in Vinyl sticker material and stuck them to the walls. We added some clouds later in the same way.

We bought the Victory Land 4 in 1 crib with attached changing table, as well as a 4 drawer chest (dresser) from Kmart.

We removed the blinds that were in the room because they weren't safe and put in a simple shade. We used an extra light that was lying around. We bought a new lamp shade from Walmart and applied some care bear and cloud stickers which were digitally made and cut out on a vinyl cutter.

We stored all our baby goodies in baskets and on shelves.

We worked on it over a period of 2-3 months. We had a little help from grandparents with the floor, but the rest we did ourselves. It was fun but had its difficult times. Our favorite part was applying the stickers to the walls. We love how it all flows together.
