Butterfly Baby Pink Nursery

A girl can never have too many clothes

The butterfly baby pink nursery was my idea and I wanted a girly baby pink subtle theme.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

We used blush by wickes... A very subtle baby pink.

If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.

We painted 2 walls with blush, wallpapered 1 wall with bella butterfly wallpaper from Laura ashley and left the cotbed wall white with always kiss me goodnight as a feature.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

The cotbed is a sleigh cotbed from mamas and papas orchard range.

What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

I chose mamas and papas orchard range for the strong and traditional lovely ivory colour.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

I bought the mothercare rosebud collection as it had butterfly's and I wanted a butterfly theme. The set is also very pretty and ideal for a baby girl.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

Laura ashley wallpaper .. Bella butterfly
I chose Teddy's from the little white company as soft and subtle colours.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

I love that the wardrobe is massive to store all items with drawers for bedding and room for 3 baskets. I also chose the changer chest of drawers to store more baby grows and blankets.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

I was eager to get going and the nursery was completed in 2 weeks with decorating, furniture purchased and put up and other purchases such as the lovely rocking chair.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

My dad helped wallpaper and my fiancé painted with me. Between me, my dad and fiancé we put the furniture up... I was left to do the final touches.

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

I love it all.. However the rocking chair and footstool helps me relax even though she is not here yet and hopefully will help me relax with her feeds at night.
