Butterflies Frogs and Flowers Nursery

The nursery bedding set I bought inspired this nursery design. I loved the colors and I am a sucker for butterflies and flowers.

The name of the bedding is Cocola Angelica.

I took the bed skirt and had the valances made from that. They are called "back tab" valances. I love frogs and found a sheer pattern with butterflies and frogs from JC Penny's. And the pink curtains are from JC Penny's also. My uncle handmade the shelves. A local company made the embroidered frog with her name.

I used Glidden paint in shades of green. I added a wall decal which I had made by an Etsy supplier.

The crib and furniture are Babi Italia Eastside from Babies R Us.

I had wooden cubes made and painted the colors of the room and used those for storage. Great storage idea!

It took 2 days to paint the room. And not long at all to put up the shelves and pictures. It was easy and fun!

My husband helped paint the room. My mom helped hang the curtains. And my uncle helped hanging the shelves.

I love how all the colors flow and make it feel like a little girl's room.

What a great room - so colorful and the design is so cute. I think that special girl will really fall in love with it. Everything in the room flows nicely, the boxes are an added touch of class. Good painting job by your husband, he must be very talented! Steph you outdid yourself with this room. You put a lot of hard work and thought into it and I am very proud of you. The room is very bright and open.
