Bright and Bold Baby Nursery

The nursery was inspired by the fact that I wanted a gender friendly bright room!

I painted with Valspar paint, just solid colors... 2 walls teal and 2 walls orange.

We bought our crib from a friend and refinished it... I don't remember the brand.

The other furniture is all hand-me-down items that we refinished to make a matching set!

We bought Sumersault Geo Brights crib bedding from Target.

We added the matching valance, a new white ceiling fan, two lamps, a lime green rug, I made the wall decor... Painted frames and sewn felt circles.

It took my husband and I a solid month to paint and refinish the furniture. It was A LOT OF WORK, but it was fun and it was so worth it!

I love the vibrant color's and the fact that the furniture and decorations are completely unique! We used the same frames as wedding decor, so it was really neat to turn around and use it for our baby's room 10 months later!
