My wife designed our Birds and Trees Baby Nursery, it was her vision.

What brand and color of paint did you use?
Light green to keep it gender friendly.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?
Graco from Walmart.com

What brand of furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?
IKEA and a local designer furniture store in Chicago.

What bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?
Polka dots sheets - our theme since our wedding day.

Tell us about your window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?
The tree on the wall was done by my wife and her mother. Rug was purchased from an online store.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?
Everything is stored in drawers and the closet.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?
It took my wife a couple of days to complete once she had all the required materials.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?
My wife did most of it, I helped a little.

What do you love most about your little one's finished room?
How simple it looks and still has a designer feel to it.

TIP: If painting or making your own tree seems a bit daunting, try an easy stick, removable tree wall decal. There are lots of beautiful ones available and they really brighten up the room!
