Beach Baby Nursery

I created a beach baby nursery style by incorporating classic and timeless navy blue and pure white linen.

The dark navy fabric has a ticking stripe on it.

The pillow is made from a natural colored linen/cotton blend and has a ric-rac "coral" design on it.

I didn't use a typical nursery lamp. This one is a retro style, wooden lamp with 2 pull chains. One bulb is bright and the other is a softer light for when baby is sleeping.

Then I just added some natural accessories like seashells in containers, a sailboat, a wooden fish tray, and a seashore bird.

I used ivory drape panels, but you could use white or a natural colored linen or cotton for a bright airy look and feel.

I also hung a black and white photo of some boats in a silver frame.

All of this give that beach baby nursery coastal look without being too "themey".
