Barnyard Baby Nursery

We were inspired by the Nojo Farm Babies bedding set. We liked the green and brown neutral color scheme. We found barnyard stencils at http://www.mywonderfulwalls.com which we were able to modify slightly to match the bedding.

We have the Munire Urban crib and dresser in dark cherry. We chose it because it matches the green/brown nicely, and also because we have an old piano in the nursery that is a similar color.

We added wicker baskets for extra storage. We found those at JCPenney. They were available in a cherry color as well, so they matched the rest of the furniture. We also found a Dutailer rocker with a sage cushion that matched.

The stenciling project was fun and probably took about a month to complete (not working everyday). The most challenging part was just deciding how to arrange the animals.
