When I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd little boy, I knew I had to redo a nursery. Being that he was the third boy, I felt like I had already used up most of the color schemes out there. But I LOVE the color orange so I decided that his nursery needed to have orange in it. Arrows and foxes are both really popular right now and I thought that they would make a great, modern nursery theme.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

I used Behr paint from Home Depot. The orange and grey were both custom matches to my fabric colors and the navy blue was Behr Starless Night.

If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.

I ordered the "Tribal Arrows Allover" stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils and stenciled an accent wall in the nursery. It took my husband and me almost an entire day (with two little ones under foot) to stencil, wash, stencil, wash...

What brand of crib did you buy? Where did you buy it?

This crib was my 2nd son's crib. It is a Munire crib and I bought it locally from a home decor store, Eastern Idaho Home Interiors.

What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

All of the nursery furniture is Munire and I bought it locally from a home decor store, Eastern Idaho Home Interiors.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

My nursery bedding was all designed by my mother and I and beautifully sewn by my amazing mother. The fabrics I chose were special ordered from Spoonflower.com and the fox fabric on the sheet and change table cover were ordered from bobbieloufabric.com.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

My mother made the valance on the window and all of the other nursery pieces, such as the diaper stacker, hamper, sheets, change table cover, basket cover, and bumper rails. I ordered the Fox String Art from an

Etsy shop, as well as the block with all of my son's birth statistics on it, and the fox clock. A friend of mine made all of the frames for me, the lamp was purchased at Target and painted blue, and the fox figurines and name letters were purchased at Hobby Lobby. I painted all of the frames and name letters myself.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

I store all of my son's baby goodies in the basket on his dresser than my mother made a cover for to include pockets and dividers. I also store goodies in his dresser and closet.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

This nursery was my vision and my design. I loved designing every detail of the nursery and working so closely with my mother on the design and spending quality time with my husband bringing it all together. The nursery wasn't hard to put together but it was time consuming. The stenciled wall took almost an entire day to do and it took my mom several weeks to sew each piece perfectly. The bumper rails took the longest to sew as they are double backed and covering foam. My favorite part was probably seeing it all complete with my baby boy in the crib.

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

I could never have done this alone! My husband did all of the painting (I did touch up painting) and my mother did all of the sewing. I also had a great friend help me with small design details, such as frame placement and such.

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

I love how bright the nursery is and all of the details. I love that it was a family project and knowing how much time and energy went into creating this space. I really just love everything about the entire room, but the accent wall and bumper rails are probably my very favorite.
